We Meet Private-Sector T&D Needs

The Training Systems Group of Sterling Institute is committed to meeting the unique training and development needs of our private-sector clients by developing highly relevant programs for executives, managers, supervisors, managerial candidates and team leaders and members. We have designed and developed a series of leading-edge training programs and a set of highly effective diagnostic instruments that enable us to establish internal benchmarks and provide organization-wide data on best practices.

Our Vision

Our vision is to become the recognized leader and most respected provider of 1) training programs in the areas of Leadership and Change, Performance Management and Empowerment, Team Effectiveness and Professional Development, and 2) web-enabled diagnostic instruments that measure core competencies across a range of leadership, management, team, and project positions.

We intend to achieve our vision by relying on our core values of and commitment to:

providing value-added programs that are seen as highly effective by participants and meet the unique needs of our customers;

providing off-the-shelf, tailored and custom-designed assessment and measurement tools; and

Our Mission

Our mission is to design, develop and implement highly effective training programs and quality diagnostic survey instruments so that our clients are able to develop the capabilities of their employees and help them build productive workplaces. We intend to achieve our mission through our dedication to:

creating more effective methods of teaching and learning and developing instructional materials that are on the leading edge of case, video, assessment and program design;

developing a comprehensive library of training programs that apply the latest thinking in the field to the issues of 1) Leadership and Change; 2) Performance Management and Empowerment; 3) Team Effectiveness, and 4) Professional Development;

designing diagnostic tools and providing survey scoring support that enables us to 1) assess client training needs; 2) provide organizational development services; 3) provide one-on-one coaching and counseling to key employees; and 4) measure and document improved individual and organizational performance as a result of our training programs and consulting services;

enabling clients to custom-design and/or cost-effectively tailor training programs to the unique needs of their customers;

providing consulting services in support of our training programs in order to help participants apply what they learn in the classroom back on the job; and

providing the highest level of customer service by bringing together people who are responsive to client needs, have the capabilities required to perform their jobs effectively and who are committed to helping our clients successfully deliver our programs and administer our surveys so that lasting improvements in both individual and organizational performance are made.
