This three-day
team-building program creates a powerful experiential learning environment, using a series
of custom-designed outdoor and indoor activities that enable members of existing teams to
examine how they work together and how they can become open to new possibilities. Unlike
other adventure programs, The Team Challenge is run by individuals with backgrounds in
organizational development, who gather information-prior to the workshop-on issues
confronting the team, and then shape a sequence of activities mirroring these issues.
Through direct experience, and with the help of facilitators and tools such as the Team
Development Model, participants explore ways of generating and sustaining trust among team
members, develop interpersonal skills that foster teamwork, and learn to deal effectively
with different personalities. They also generate action plans to increase personal
effectiveness and improve teamwork within the organization.
