Advancing Into Supervision

Why should you consider this program?

Because change is now the norm, and front-line managers who have both the
skills and the motivation to use them are essential to the success of
change initiatives.
This program helps supervisory candidates assess their interest in a career in management and to evaluate their current readiness to move into supervision. Participants are provided a thorough overview of the roles and responsibilities of supervision and self-assess their current strengths and improvement opportunities relative to the art and science of getting results through others. Participants also receive feedback from their peers on the impact they have on the performance and motivations of those with whom they currently work. This survey data provides great insight into the impact they are having on people and helps participants begin to plan the steps they can take to improve performance in their current positions and to further develop the capabilities they must have in order to be considered for advancement into supervision.
