Directing Your Development

Why should you consider this program?

Because most organizations seeking maximum return on their resources find that front-line employees represent a substantial reservoir of untapped potential.
The programs in our management curriculum are fundamentally about the critical role managers play in developing and unleashing the talents of the people who report to them. This program was developed in recognition of the fact that every employee must take primary responsibility for their own performance and career development. As such, we have developed a set of tools for non-supervisory employees to direct their own development. Enabling front-line employees to direct their own development in ways that maximize their value and contribution to the organization and their satisfaction from their jobs and careers is the best way to optimize available resources and "do more with less." This program strengthens the ability of front-line employees to plan and direct their own development. It prepares employees to communicate with their managers about their performance, talents and development interests. As a result, it produces greater alignment of expectations and needs and stimulates the motivation of front-line employees to take responsibility and initiative.
