Team Effectiveness Survey (TES)

Are your intact teams performing up to their potential or are group dynamics interfering with their ability to carry out their mission and achieve their objectives?

The Team Effectiveness Survey is an ideal diagnostic tool to help intact work teams, whether they are newly formed or have been in operation for some time, to assess their overall effectiveness and identify the steps they can take to improve team performance.  Each team member, including the team leader, assesses the team as a group.  (Data is not collected on individual team members, because the time and administrative complexity of asking each member to fill a survey out on every other member.)  A team-building consultant meets with the team to facilitate a review of the data and to reach consensus on the steps that the team can take to increase its overall effectiveness.  This process of action learning can be extended by using Developing Dynamic Teams, a modular program conducted over five days that provides the in-depth assistance teams may need in working through their survey results, building their team skills and applying what they have learned in the process of carrying out the team’s mission.
