Why should you
consider this program?
Because this program teaches important teamwork skills in a matrix environment and helps
participants address the complex challenges of influencing without authority, managing
ambiguity, and building cooperation across department lines. |
This two-day program
teaches project leaders or team members on cross-functional teams how to collaborate with
and influence others over whom they have no positional authority. By examining their responses to a video-taped case study, participants learn
how they can modify their relationship behaviors to improve their own individual
performance and that of their teams. Aided by Sterling Institute's Associate Practices
Survey, conducted prior to the workshop, participants explore how to gain commitment
from other team members, manage ambiguity, and create a collaborative working environment.
