Management Training for Organizations Serving the Intellectually Disabled

Sterling Institute would like to offer public-sector and non-profit organizations serving the needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities a free license to our leadership and management development curriculum so that you can train an unlimited number of your employees without incurring any costs for program materials. This offer will give you a proven set of training resources and budget relief.

We have designed and developed a comprehensive public-sector curriculum that includes over 20 classroom-based programs. You can review the programs that comprise this free training curriculum by selecting the "Programs” button on the navigation menu above.

Our programs address many core competencies required of managers, supervisors and front-line employees including leadership, change, performance management, teamwork, emotional intelligence, communication and conflict resolution. These programs have been successfully presented to scores of federal, state and local government agencies so we are confident that they can contribute to your workforce development efforts.

We would like to meet with you to discuss your organization's learning and development needs, present our program design and learning methodology and introduce you to one of our instructors. If you then decide to pilot test one of our programs, we will give you electronic copies of our program masters so that you can produce instructor notes and participant workbooks internally. We will conduct the pilot at a discounted rate for our teaching.

After the pilot, you can call on us to continue to run any of the programs at a discounted rate or ask us to conduct a Train-the-Trainer program for your in-house training team. When your internal teaching team is prepared to conduct the programs you will have no further external costs and can run the programs for free for as long as you like.
We are very grateful to this caregiving community that has contributed so much to so many. Thank you for the work that your organization does for those in need. We look forward to talking with you to explore how Sterling Institute can contribute to your learning and development needs.
