| Program Description |
This course is designed to
enable participants to examine key dimensions of effective teams. Through the use of an
actual public sector case study and situation response video, participants follow a team
as they progress through the normal stages of team development . As participants assess
the effectiveness of the team in the case study, they also participate in exercises that
allow them to apply what they are learning to their own situation. This program is a
companion to the Building Effective Teams program for managers and supervisors. |
| Upon completion of this course
the participant will be able to |
- Assess their own teams effectiveness and analyze the factors
that are inhibiting team performance
- Identify the characteristics of effective teams
- Identify their own Initiative Style and understand how to use the
styles that will be most effective in various teamwork situations
