The traditional role of
management is rapidly changing. Todays organization requires managers to think
creatively and systemically, integrating ideas and resources to better meet customer needs
with limited resources. This program enables managers to understand how their role is
shifting. Participants follow a manager in a government agencies agency as he tries to
move from a traditional role to the new role. They identify the management practices that
support these roles, determine the need for each role within their own agency, and assess
their effectiveness in all three roles. |
