Career Development for Every Employee

Sterling Institute “localized” a suite of career development programs for a large Saudi multi-national client in the manufacturing sector. We have presented them successfully to Saudi employees across the Kingdom. These programs have helped front-line employees and first level-supervisors assume greater personal responsibility for their development and to take the initiative to increase their effectiveness on the job. These career development programs are developing the management and leadership capabilities of front-line employees and first-level supervisors so that our client can more readily promote from within and meet the career goals of its workers.

Our career development programs are ideal training and development tools for organizations that want to provide every front-line employee with the opportunity to assess their interest in and readiness for supervision and management.

The programs offer a self-directed development process that gives employees the chance to evaluate their interests, determine their current readiness and begin to develop their management capabilities, if they are interested. This program series helps employees prepare career development plans that will specify the steps they need to take to develop the skills and acquire the knowledge they need in supervision.

The programs make it clear to all participants that they are not guaranteed positions in management.  Instead of providing false expectations, the programs help employees look at their careers realistically.  The programs help participants take an important first step in identifying the actions they need to take to qualify themselves for consideration for positions in supervision or management.
